Have you ever thought of aquaponics as an option for your food production?  Have you even heard of aquaponics?

His digital aquaponics manual, “The Art of Aquaponics”, is considered as the aquaponics bible!  You may remember that Pete and I bought an aquaponics kit several years ago, but didn't set it up at the time because we planned to move, so we are always keen to learn more about this unique method of growing food.

Lately we have been growing tomatoes in a hydroponic system. They are growing stronger and taller than any tomatoes in my garden. I thought you might be interested to know more about hydroponics, the system that we use and the pros and cons of hydroponics in general.

I mentioned ages ago that we were thinking about setting up an aquaponics system.  We ordered it back in September and the kit was delivered to Kingaroy in December last year.  We unloaded it from the ute and left it stored safely in the shed while we thought about where/how to build our greenhouse.
