Tallow is an amazing ingredient in soap. It is very similar to the sebum in our skin, so it creates a nourishing soap that does not dry - perfect for sensitive skin. Tallow is a by-product from meat production, so it is a sustainable, locally produced ingredient, unlike many plant oils. Tallow creates a fantastically hard, long-lasting bar of soap, that doesn't dissolve into mush like some plant oil-based soaps.
Pure and Simple Natural Handmade Soap has only three ingredients - tallow, rainwater and lye. If you want something a little more adventurous, the other soaps contain high quality essential oils for a subtle scent and natural ingredients for colour.
